Meet the Owners of Santee

Meet the Owners of SanTee. They are amazing women fulfilling one of their long life passions - Coffee & Tea. Read about their stories below!

Hey! I'm Sandra,

I grew up in the Midwest, where coffee was a necessity due to the cold weather and hard work. I would first try coffee as a young child with my father as he prepared for work. Often times I would have coffee with my grandfather when I visited In the south. Instantly, coffee was a love of mine. Growing up and attending college, coffee became a must when having long study sessions. As an adult, coffee is a continuing desire. Over the years, I’ve been blessed to experience coffee from various parts of the
world.

As such, I’m a coffee snob!! I’ve always wanted to have my own business, so I achieved receiving an MBA with a concentration in accounting. Then I met my friend Tanya who is a PA with a vast knowledge of tea. We decided to start a business after both of our loves, Coffee and Tea.

Hey! I'm Tanya,

Growing up in a family of 6 children, our parents made tea throughout the day. We drank all kinds of tea. It did not matter if it was morning, noon, or evening. We learned how to make sun tea when we visited our aunts and cousins in Louisiana. We would have tea all day, and on Fridays, my mom would fix tacos, and we would even have tea then. The friends who came to our home would call us the tea and taco family. I took this and passed it onto my children. We would have different tea, from morning teas to tea, that will help with different types of illnesses such as cold/flu, relaxation, sleep to smooth move. Coffee came later in my college life.
When I met my friend Sandra, we would talk about coffee and tea. We would sit down with our coffee. I would talk about the health benefits, and she would tell me about the different favors she tried. I was impressed. I started ordering coffee around the world. When you come to my home, you will see different flavors of tea and coffee.
